the word "Islam" comes from the root word "seleme" which means "Peace" in Arabic. The actual definition and translation of the word "Islam" is "submission to God" and the definition and translation of the word "Muslim" is "One who has submitted to God". Despite the common misconceptions, Islam is a way of life that promotes peace, humility and happiness. I hope that shows through my blog :) Salaam to all my sisters and brothers, I love you all for the sake of Allah :)
